Day 1 – Arrival in Santiago and Maipo-Valley
Welcome at the airport and transfer to the Ritz Carlton Hotel Santiago. Afterwards, your English-speaking guide will accompany you to the famous Maipo Valley just outside of Santiago, where you will visit the impressive “Haras del Pirque” winery.
Here, passion for wine is combined with the love of noble horses, which is also reflected in the architecture: the building, located between vineyards in the foothills of the Andes Mountains, is in the shape of a giant horseshoe. “Haras de Pirque” is Chile’s oldest horse breeding and training establishment for pure blood horses. It exists since 1892 The establishment exists since 1892, and more than one international trophy was won here even before winegrowing was started here at the beginning of the 1990s.
During the tour, you will visit the horse stables and the winery, and learn about the wine making process from the grape to the bottle. At the end of the tour, your can taste two wines, and afterwards, appreciate the owner’s carriage collection.
Return to Santiago in the late afternoon.

Day 2 – 5 Atacama desert / Luxury Tierra Atacama Hotel &Spa
San Pedro de Atacama, a small oasis town in the middle of the Atacama Desert, is blessed with a whole range of attractions in its vicinity, and tourists have been drawn to it for decades. The wealth of San Pedro de Atacama’s natural and archaeological highlights ranges from the El Tatio geysers to the Valley of the Moon, from the ancient fortress of Pucará de Quitor to the thermal springs of Puritama, and certainly includes the Padre Le Paige Museum.
Happily, this place with its sandy streets and low adobe houses does not appear to be changing, and appears almost untouched by the never-ending stream of foreigners, who come here to experience the incomparable Atacama Desert.
